Book Cover and Illustrations for a book about the railway
"Entrelinhas" was written by a portuguese playwright and contains 3 plays, 2 of which are set in different times of the portuguese railway history.
I was asked to create the book cover and illustrations for this book.
The first play is a musical that tells of the history of the railway, via a grandmother telling her grandaughters of her own life and stories, while the other passengers pitch in with their own memories.
The second play is the love story between a railway guard and the station mananger, with strong social commentary about the society of the eary 20th century in Portugal.
The third, is a short commedic play of 3 witches talking about the state of the world and what is to come.
